I am on the other side of completing a health challenge campaign at the J.O.B. I was the team captain and, consequently, named our team “Engineered for Health” as we are part of the Engineering College. Following is the closing message I sent to the team. I thought it fitting on a broader scale and share it with you. I hope it resonates with you and that you share it with others.

“When I think about our team name, Engineered for Health, I think about the will and science of the human mind and body. That it does have the power, the tools if you will, to heal itself. Knowing that the word “health” is built upon the word “heal”, you cannot help but believe the former to be true. And, of course the word “engineered” – created for, built for, planned for – and any other verb you can think of.

“Bottom line, is that whatever our individual health goals are, we have the power to make them happen by virtue of our “nature made” ability to heal ourselves. It will be our choice to help or hinder the natural process.90 for life supplements

“The “Biggest Loser for Life” health challenge sets a good foundation from which to catapult forward. Review the 6 categories* from the scorecard and determine that you (we) will permanently integrate these behaviors*, and more as needed, into

your daily living. When that happens, the 7th category on the scorecard* will begin to reflect what we ultimately want and need. Let
the mirror be your friend.

“I wish each for of us success as we practice health each day. Understand that life will happen to slip us up and sometimes we may fall. You have the choice and power to get back up, even if you have to crawl or lean on another.”
